Recording the end of true vernacular and the death of:

Buildings that fall between the stools of mass house builders, design and build contractors and the corporate house-style of merchant architects.

Buildings that belong to people and fill the blurred and left-over spaces between formal planning boundaries, rubbing up against the edgelands of designated purpose zones.

Buildings which are or can be loosely defined as vernacular- left-over buildings, forgotten buildings and make-do-and-mend buildings on the edge of ruin.
